About Us
Hello Liverpool was founded by Alexandra Higginson in 2023. Growing up in Cambridge Alexandra took part in coding classes from the age of four and found a passion for problem-solving. However, it was evident that there was a lack of diversity within the computing industry with very few of her classes including girls. For the past ten years, Alex has been working with other organisations and charities to provide female coding classes and awareness. After moving to Liverpool Alex saw a gap for an accessible coding service, and through conversations within the community, this was something they wanted. This inspired her to start Hello Liverpool.
